Are gym classes a little too extreme for you? Do you feel like there's nothing in the way of fitness classes that are more aimed at your ability? Well now there is. We are running light fitness classes specifically designed for people who feel the 'youthful' atmosphere at the gym and the 'one class fits all' perspective is not for them. 

WHAT DO YOU DO IN THESE CLASSES?

These classes offer a huge range of benefits not only physically but mentally as well. In these classes we will...

  • Use light weights and resistance bands to help improve muscular strength and joint stability

  • Incorporate low and non-impact exercises to look after your joints

  • Increase the heart rate to promote a strong cardiovascular system

  • Increase flexibility and mobility through light exercise

  • Warm up, cool down and stretch helping to look after the body before and after exercise

YOU GO AT YOUR OWN PACE, DO WHAT YOU CAN DO, GREAT FOR ALL ABILITIES

We offer classes designed especially for the over 50's but for differing abilities. You get to train with people of a similar age and you get to go at your own pace. Many of the exercises can be done seated or you can push yourself a little. The classes are put together in a way that you will get the most from each one. And no two weeks are the same, we have a different workouts each week to keep you motivated and coming back for more.

The classes are designed to be suitable for all ages and abilities. We know everyone has varying levels of ability and this is why each class is planned to be fully inclusive. You go at your own pace and do what you can do.

WHEN AND WHERE?

We hold three Light Fitness Classes each week all of which are just £3 each to attend. There are also free refreshments and chance for a brew and chat before each class and classes last around 30 minutes.
